Steven Ganescu

Major: Chemistry

Steven hails from York, Pennsylvania and joined the Penn State community in COVID-ridden days of fall 2020. In the virtual spring of 2021, Steven decided to take his love of organic chemistry to the Elacqua group where he expressed a desire to work on our donor-acceptor ROMP project. Steven's hobbies include helping others understand and appreciate chemistry, while continuing to learn more about organic chemistry. In addition, he enjoys spending time with his friends, playing video games, and wasting time on YouTube. Steven plans to continue with his love of chemistry and pursue graduate school after graduation. While Steven hates high temperatures and bugs, we're certain that he'll enjoy heating up some monomers in the lab and working to troubleshoot any synthetic bugs that arise!
