Postdoctoral Scholars:

 

The Elacqua Group welcomes postdoc applications at any time, but we are currently seeking applicants in the below mentioned areas. To apply, please attach the following (as pdf attachments) to Dr. Elacqua and include in the subject line “Postdoc Application-[LastName]-[ResearchAreaofInterest]”

• CV - including two or more references who will provide recommendations upon request

• Research Summary - a ~2 page summary of your graduate research

• Statement of Career Goals - no more than a single page about your future career goals and how a postdoc in the Elacqua group will help you achieve them

We currently have up to three postdoc positions potentially available in areas of organic synthesis, catalysis, and polymer synthesis/chemistry, including:

​

I: Synthesis and application of homogeneous polymer-based cooperative photoredox catalysis

Preferred (but not required) experience: small-molecule synthesis, photoredox catalysis, polymer synthesis and characterization (broadly defined)

​

II: Ring-opening metathesis polymerization toward sequence-defined polymers/materials

Preferred (but not required) experience: small molecule and polymer synthesis, catalysis

​

III: Pressure-induced pericyclic polymerization 

Preferred (but not required) experience: synthesis and characterization (broadly defined), high-pressure chemistry, spectroscopy, photochemistry, carbon-based materials synthesis
