Serika Govani

Major: Biobehavioral Health

Serika grew up in South Windsor, CT but recently moved to the warmer weather in Wellington, FL. Serika joined the Penn State community in 2018 as a biobehavioral health major and has since pursued a minor in health policy administration. Serika enjoys chemistry and has been a Learning Assistant for our organic chemistry curriculum. She expressed interest in research in the Elacqua group during the virtual spring of 2021 and started working alongside Stephen in June. In her spare time, Serika enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, and going to the beach. After graduation, Serika plans to combine her mutual loves of traveling and yoga to obtain her teaching certificate in yoga prior to attending medical school to pursue a career as a doctor.
