Farraz Haider

Major: Chemistry

Farraz joined the Penn State community in the fall of 2019 and expressed interest in research that summer, specifically expressing interest in synthesizing carbon-based nanothreads. Farraz joined the Elacqua group as a sophomore (while concurrently taking organic chemistry) and promptly started working with Steve investigating the pressure-induced polymerization of heteroaromatic compounds.
