Faith Hansotte

Major: Chemical Engineering (Minor: Environmental Engineering)

 

Faith is from Butler, PA and enrolled in the chemical engineering program at Penn State in the fall of 2019. In early 2021, Faith expressed interest in our polymer photoredox catalysis project and has been itching to get into the lab since then! Faith is a part of Phi Sigma Rho, Women in Engineering, and the Society of Women Engineers here at PSU. In her spare time, Faith enjoys hiking, kayaking, volleyball, and softball. After a summer internship with PPG Paints in the Science and Technology Innovation Center, Faith will begin in-person work with the Elacqua group in 2021. We look forward to seeing Faith shine some lights in our lab and interrogate new and/or selective reactivity.
